The musical story so far
An era names the strongest current in Violet's music, not a border she can never cross again. Earlier sounds return, mutate and surface in later releases.
Violet Riot finds her way, builds her name and tries almost everything before gradually becoming Violet Hart. These Suno years are one long experimental workshop rather than a sequence of tidy eras: different faces, sounds, stories and album-worlds teaching Violet what she could become.
Violet arrives on Spotify with her indie soul in plain view: intimate, melodic, self-possessed and already unwilling to stay in one narrow lane.
Lavender Touch → Walk Like You Own It
Space grunge and psychedelia become a major thread. Distortion, uncertainty and strange horizons push the indie foundation somewhere less earthly.
Alien Ground → Waiting for the Chime
Dark, romantic threads weave through the catalogue as The Riots become more visible around Violet. Sloane’s Limbo closes the chapter from inside the band’s widening world.
Pretty Brutal → Sloane’s Limbo
The city takes over: smoke, streets, Millbank, Soho and nights that run past good judgement. Even here, In My Garden carries an unmistakable echo of Era III.
Friday High → Mad Night Out
Dark dance, trance and techno meet indie folk, space grunge, alternative rock, UK garage, rap and full-strength Violet sass. Contradiction becomes the point.
All The Ways We Burn → Sassitude
Romance takes the foreground without becoming soft-edged: Hartfelt opens the door, Road Trippin’ carries it out into the world, and Heavy Wool turns it inward through comfort, distance and self-preservation. Romance for End Times and the wickedly good Ruinette carry the current to year’s end.
Hartfelt → RuinetteEra VI carries Violet to the end of 2026. What begins in 2027 has not been named yet.
One catalogue, many climates
